Maxol Castletroy raised more than €2,300 for the fuel retailer's charity partner Make-A-Wish Foundation with a range of fundraising activities in December.
Staff baked their own treats to sell in store to raise money for the charity, while selling tickets for a draw offering customers that chance to win lots of different goodies. The store also collected donations in the forecourt, and even hosted a Santa’s grotto
Tom Duggan, licensee at Maxol Castletroy commented on the events, “I want to thank everyone who gave up their free time to come to visit us at Maxol Castletroy in December.”
He added, “Well done to everyone again on making a difference for a fantastic charity.”
Susan O’Dwyer, Chief Executive at the Make-A-Wish Foundation said, “With Maxol’s help this year, we have continued, and will continue to make a difference in the lives of medically ill children.”
