Maxol Castletroy has unveiled its new look this month after an extensive makeover, which includes a fresh image for the station, a new Centra convenience store and a carwash, as well as new fuel pumps, underground storage tanks and improved customer parking.
The service station’s new look and improved facilities were celebrated with a Family Fun Day on December 12th, which welcomed hundreds of customers and featured entertainment and prize giveaways.
Limerick’s Live 95 shadow crew were onsite to run competitions and offer customers chances to win free fuel and car washes. Visitors also enjoyed lots of activities hosted by Maxol Licensee Tom Duggan, including food tastings, music and face painting.
The afternoon’s festivities were completed with a visit from Santa Clause, giving local children the chance to share their Christmas wish lists.
Manager of the Castletroy business since 2000, Tom Duggan commented at the event, “I am delighted to see such a good turnout today. Despite the bad weather, we have had lots of fun here on the forecourt and instore.
“If you have not yet managed to visit us here, there are still loads of great offers for our customers and we will also be announcing the winner of our iPad mini competition this week,” he added before thanking his customers for their patience during the redevelopments.
