Maxol first opened the site on the Coast Road in Sutton, Dublin 13 in June 2014, and it has since served 250,000 customers at its self-service petrol pumps.
Maxol’s Head of Retail and Marketing at Maxol, Dermot O’Toole surprised the 250,000th customer, Niamh Farrell of Malahide, with a fuel voucher worth €100, as well as a hotel break at a choice of destinations in Ireland.
“We’re delighted with the success of auto24 Sutton and to be in this position where we can bring an innovative fuel solution to motorists in Ireland,” O’Toole said.
Adding that the site allows Maxol to provide motorists with fuel on a 24-hour basis, he said, “A part of our customer base has been parents with kids in the car and workers on the go. We also have a great car wash here which is also very popular.”
The recent opening of Maxol’s second auto24 station in the Republic of Ireland in Wexford brings the company’s network of automated service stations across the island of Ireland to eight.
