Marks & Spencer has officially launched the first of its in-store offerings with Applegreen, in Mountgorry, Swords.
According to the roadside retailer, Applegreen Mountgorry is the first in a roll-out of its new ‘shop-in-shop’ project.
M&S Food will soon be available in five Applegreen locations across Leinster.
Commenting on the partnership when it was first announced, in October, Fiona Matthews, managing director, Applegreen Ireland, said, “As a proud Irish business, we believe this partnership will complement our market-leading offer of choice, quality, value, and a great experience to our customers on the road.
“We are constantly improving, to give our customers more choice and a better customer experience, and this agreement with M&S is part of that evolution.”
Food Selection
Shoppers can now enjoy a selection of M&S food on the go, including sandwiches and Irish fruit, as well as Percy Pig sweets.
The forecourt also currently stocks a number of ready-to-eat M&S dinner options, such as lasagne and quiche.
M&S’s fresh flowers are also available in the Swords outlet, along with a selection of wines.
The M&S range will feature alongside Applegreen’s existing product range.
New Locations
Next, M&S Food products will be available at Applegreen in Booterstown, Co. Dublin, the company noted.
Three more locations will open in the first quarter of next year: Celbridge, Co. Kildare; Kinsealy, Co. Dublin; and the M11 service area in Cullenmore, Co. Wicklow.
