New SuperValu Store Opens In Celbridge Creating 70 Jobs

Supervalu has officially opened a new store in Celbridge, Co. Kildare today. The store brings 70 new jobs to the area and represents an €8 million investment. Owned by brothers Steven, Joe and Michael Nally, the new store is located in St. Wolstan's Shopping Centre on the Dublin Road.

The 15,000 square foot shop offers expert butchers, fishmongers and an in-store bakery. It has a full off-licence and a Supervalu online shopping service is available.

Steven Nally, joint owner of Celbridge SuperValu, said, "This new store demonstrates our confidence in the local economy and our commitment to the community of Celbridge. I am proud that we have the opportunity to invest locally and employ people from the surrounding community.”

SuperValu serves over 2 million customers each week and has 198 stores nationwide. SuperValu sources 75% of everything on its shelves in Ireland, contributing over €1.6 billion to the Irish economy.
