Pepco has announced that it will open a new store in the Square, Tallaght, Dublin, tomorrow (10 June).
The discounter noted that it will offer the first 50 customers a golden ticket worth up to €100 to spend as they please in the new store.
Tallaght will be the sixth pilot Pepco store in Ireland, adding to Pepco stores in the Omni Shopping Centre, Finglas Main Centre, the Park at Carrickmines, the Courtyard at Newbridge and Galway Shopping Centre.
Revamp
The opening of Pepco in Tallaght comes after Dealz completely revamped five of its Irish stores, giving them top-to-bottom makeovers that converted them to the Pepco brand, creating an additional 60 jobs.
The initial five converted stores have been welcomed by customers, who’ve appreciated the ranges, wide aisles, and clean and modern environment.
Alongside Dealz and Poundland, Pepco is one of three key retail brands operated by the Pepco Group and headquartered in Poznań, Poland.
Transformation
Olivia McLoughlin, trading country operations manager for both Pepco and Dealz in Ireland, said, “We’re delighted at the initial reaction to our five Pepco stores in Ireland, and we’re extremely excited to be opening our newest Pepco store in Tallaght.
“We’ve been working hard to transform the store from a Dealz to a Pepco and bring the items that we know our customers already love and much more.
“We know purse strings are tight for many families throughout Ireland, and that’s why [we] also know the value we offer will matter.”
Pepco currently has over 4,000 stores across 19 European countries.
