Republic of Ireland and Everton captain, Seamus Coleman has reprised his role as brand ambassador for Spar’s Better Choices summer 2021 campaign.
As well as Spar own-brand products, the range includes a selection of goods from suppliers Glenisk, Green Farm, Kelkin, Free-ist and Glenmór.
Available now in more than 400 Spar stores across Ireland, the range of Better Choices products are easily identifiable by its green sticker, the retailer said.
Coleman, commented, “As someone who is always on the move, I understand that it can sometimes feel hard to make healthy choices when dining on the go. Spar’s Better Choices range is the perfect solution to this, making healthier food and snack choices available across Ireland, without sacrificing on taste."
“Instead of reaching for less nutritious snacks and comfort foods, search for the Better Choices sticker in store and be happy in the knowledge that you are nourishing your family with healthy foods. Recipes And Suggested Shopping Lists
In addition to the in-store selection, Spar, in conjunction with dietitian Ellen Roche, has created a specially curated online hub at www.spar.ie/betterchoices to provide customers with recipes and suggested shopping lists to 'make planning for staycations, barbeques and match nights in.'
"This summer is unique as we’ll be spending more time at home and outdoors than ever before, and so we need more sources of inspiration when it comes to healthy eating," said Colin Donnelly, sales director Spar.
"That’s why we have expanded our SPAR Better Choices programme in-store and provided suggested shopping lists and recipes on our online hub to make healthier eating accessible to everyone, whatever the occasion,” he said.
