SuperValu opens its new Blackrock store this Thursday 12th of November, celebrating with special ‘Christmas Good Food Karma’ demonstrations and celebrity appearances across the weekend.
A variety of new concepts will be unveiled across the three days in the new Blackrock store, which SuperValu describes as its best food emporium in the country.
Events lined up include ‘Christmas Dinner Masterclasses’ hosted by chef Kevin Dundon with GAA All-Star Bernard Brogan, craft beer tastings with Ross Golden Bannon, and even demonstrations on how to dress the perfect Christmas table with Lisa Fitzpatrick and story-telling with Ryan Tubridy.
Highlights in SuperValu Blackrock include its fish counter featuring a lobster tank as well as a meat counter offering grass-fed Wexford lamb, manned by expert butcher David O’Neill.
Customers can also take home premium ready meals, Irish and international cheeses, and exotic fruit and vegetables.
The store in Blackrock shopping centre will also allow craft beer fans to fill their own 2-litre ‘growlers’, while wine fans will be catered to with options at all prices, from a €14 Pouilly Fume to a €575 St. Estephe.
