SuperValu Dingle, Co. Kerry has been named 'SuperValu Off-Licence Of The Year 2015/16' at the Edward Dillon & Santa Rita Estates SuperValu and Centra Off-Licence Of The Year Awards event in Athlone’s Hodson Bay Hotel, which took place earlier this month.
Other big winners on the night were Ryan’s Centra, Clonroadmore, Ennis, which won Wine Store of the Year, and Reidy’s Centra in Foynes, taking the award for best Convenience Store.
The evening was hosted by CEO of Edward Dillon & Co Andy O’Hara, alongside category manager at Musgraves, Donagh McClafferty and Santa Rita Estates commercial director for the UK and Ireland, Terry Pennington.
RTE radio presenter Shay Byrne MC’d the night, while entertainment was provided by comedian Neil Delamere.
The overall winner and category winners of awards won a trip to Chile and Argentina, with all finalists receiving a certificate of achievement on the night.
Speaking at the event, Andy O’Hara, CEO of Edward Dillon, said, “We would like to extend our congratulations to SuperValu Dingle, the overall winner, for reaching such a high standard.
“We would also like to say well done to the other winners and to all finalists for taking part this year.”
