The Tesco Store Manager of the Year award has been won by David Murphy from Tesco’s Adamstown store, in West Dublin.
The award was presented as part of the retailer’s annual Values Awards, at a ceremony earlier this month in the Castleknock Hotel, in Dublin.
David Murphy, originally from Foxrock, was one of the big winners on the night.
The awards, which have been running since 2014, are voted for by Tesco’s 13,000-strong workforce.
There are nine categories, including Colleague of the Year, Store Team of the Year, and the Unsung Hero award.
Murphy was nominated by his Adamstown colleagues for the award.
He was recognised for his resilience and excellent leadership skills within the team.
The award was presented by Tesco Ireland chief operations officer Geoff Byrne.
