Tesco Ireland has reminded customers that they can check their Clubcard points balance and if they have vouchers – online or with the Tesco app.
There is currently €10.5 million in unredeemed Clubcard vouchers, with €710,000 worth of vouchers due to expire in August 2024.
Customers can spend vouchers to bring down the cost of their weekly shop or get up to three times the value with Clubcard Reward Partners.
‘Power To More’
The reminder comes as Tesco launches its new ‘Power to More’ campaign, which shows how everyday purchases can become currency with the Clubcard, with the more purchases that you make equating to more points collected and more vouchers to spend.
Clubcard gives customers the ‘Power to More’ on an ongoing basis, through Clubcard Prices, Reward Partners, and Scan as you Shop.
To coincide with the launch of the new campaign, customers can earn double points when they shop until 23 July.
Customers will also have over 100 chances to win prizes through a once-off ‘Scan it Lucky’ draw.
‘Scan it Lucky’ gives customers to the chance to win high-value prizes, which include a year’s worth of electricity paid with SSE Airtricity, family cinema passes with ODEON, gift cards for Milano, family passes to Dublin Zoo, and many more.
To be in with a chance to win, customers just need to use their Clubcard in store or online before 28 July.
‘Never Been Easier’
As well as turning points into experiences or savings, customers also have the opportunity to donate their vouchers to Tesco’s charity partner, the Children’s Health Foundation.
Speaking about Clubcard, Tesco Ireland’s head of customer strategy and growth, Amanda Farrell, said, “Clubcard helps every euro go further.
“The more points you collect, the more vouchers you have to spend to bring down the cost of your weekly shop, or get up to three times the value with our Clubcard Reward Partners.
“Clubcard vouchers expire after two years, so we’re encouraging customers to check their Clubcard account to see if they have some of the €10.5 million worth of vouchers yet to be redeemed.
“With the Tesco Ireland app, it has never been easier to check your points, vouchers and coupons.”
