Tesco has announced a change in staff schedules and 90 voluntary redundancies in their Irish branches.
The supermarket has said that this change is to improve customer service at the busiest times of the day, with the goal of seeing 800 more staff on shop floors during the day.
Many night shift workers have agreed to change to day shifts, while 90 have chosen voluntary redundancies. Tesco intends to backfill these roles.
The announcement follows the company posting poor figures for Q3.
