Tesco has brought Christmas early to shoppers in Ballincollig, Cork. After being surveyed on their perfect presents - and secretly filmed, Tesco set out to surprise some of their customers.
One man broke down in tears after being told he was going on a "panto weekend in Dublin" with his children, after he had told the store he would be working on Christmas Day.
Another woman was gifted plane tickets to bring her sister home from Canada for Christmas.
Many more customers who participated in the survey received novelty gifts.
