Tesco Ireland has announced that the AA and Royal Caribbean International have joined its Clubcard Reward Partners programme.
The two newest Reward Partners join a host of market-leading partners, giving Tesco Ireland customers the chance to avail of exclusive deals and savings across days out, restaurants, entertainment, travel, and more.
Speaking about the announcement, Cathal Deavy, customer director, Tesco Ireland, said, “We know that Clubcard has the power to not only unlock great-value prices in store and online, but, through our Clubcard Reward Partner programme, customers have access to added value through our market-leading partners.”
The AA
The retailer noted that its Clubcard holders can benefit from huge savings with the AA, as it joins Tesco as a Reward Partner this week.
With the latest statistics from the AA revealing that, of the 2.2 million cars on the road, 82% are currently out of warranty, Tesco Clubcard holders can avail of a 50% discount on the annual standard cover for breakdown assistance when they exchange €22 worth of Clubcard vouchers to get €66 off its annual standard cover.
In addition, customers will receive up to €250 off AA car insurance renewal.
Royal Caribbean International
According to Tesco, as part of the new partnership, Clubcard holders in Ireland can treble the value of their vouchers to go towards the cost of a holiday with Royal Caribbean Cruises.
So, for example, a €5 voucher is worth €15, and a €100 voucher is worth €300.
With 26 ships serving more than 260 destinations, Royal Caribbean is one of the world’s leading cruise liners and has been creating extraordinary holidays, cruising to unforgettable destinations for more than 50 years.
“With demand for domestic and international travel on the rise, the two new Reward Partners represent another great way for shoppers to save even more,” Deavy added.
“Through our new and existing partners, our customers will get even better value with their vouchers, whether it’s for their annual holiday, weekends away, or midweek breaks – wherever and whenever they decide to go.”
Digitising Clubcard Programme
Tesco Ireland noted that it is working to further digitise the Clubcard programme, and in recent weeks has made it easier for customers to access savings.
Using the Tesco Ireland app, once a Clubcard customer has 150 points or more, s/he can now turn his/her Clubcard points into vouchers instantly.
