190 supercars and novelty cars, reportedly worth an estimated €32 million, 'will drive across almost 1,000 kilometers of Irish open roads' at this years Top Oil Cannonball event.
The family owned home heating and fuel business will be the official fuel partner for this year’s supercar event, which will take place from the 8-10 September.
The supercars such as Ferrari and Aston Martin will stop to refuel at a number of dedicated Top Oil locations on the route, including Top Oil's recently opened Junction 3 service station, Cobh Cross, in Cork, with a finish line in Kilkenny.
Alan Bannon, Cannonball organiser said, "The route takes us through some of the most beautiful parts of Ireland, and I look forward to welcoming our Cannonballers from all of the world to enjoy this award-winning event.”
Bannon also said that 40% of Cannonball entries come from outside of Ireland and this year 'an exciting team with 10 supercars' are travelling from Dubai to take part.
