Topaz has announced that it will be the official fuel supplier of GoCar, Ireland’s car sharing initiative.Go Car is currently operating in Dublin and Cork, with 70 vehicles now equipped with Topaz Fuel Cards.
The scheme allows users to access the vehicles solely when they are needed and pay per trip. Additionally, GoCar members are not charged for using Dublin City Council pay and display parking spaces, while additional costs associated with motoring such as insurance premiums and vehicle servicing are also removed.
Topaz Commercial Director Liam Mulcahy commented: “Car clubs like GoCar have sprung up in a host of major European and US cities and the concept is rapidly catching on here in Ireland. At Topaz we are always looking at ways to enhance customer service or to provide them with new services and that’s exactly what GoCar does.”
