Topaz has announced Malachie Lenihan of Donaghmede as the winner of Topaz ‘Play or Park’ for April, and a luxury trip to Las Vegas where he and two friends will spend seven nights in the famous Bellagio hotel.
The prize also includes a trip to see Cirque De Soleil, as well as a fighter pilot experience and a helicopter ride across the Grand Canyon.
More than 350,000 have signed up to the Topaz ‘Play or Park’ loyalty game, which allows customers to collect points every time they refuel or make a purchase at participating Topaz stores. Customers can then either ‘play’ their points for slightly smaller prizes such as cars and short holidays, or they can ‘play’ for bigger monthly prizes like the Las Vegas trip.
Lenihan said of his win, “It’s unbelievable, really. I’d be the type of person who never wins competitions but it hasn’t stopped me from playing my points with Topaz when I can.
“At first I was convinced it was a wind-up but after a couple of days the news has begun to sink in and I’m just really excited to get on the plane,” he added.
