Fresh produce company Total Produce plc has announced that Michael Meghan will join its Board as a non-executive director with effect from 1 July 2018.
Meghan, aged 63, is a retired senior corporate lawyer and has spent his career as a partner in Arthur Cox.
Commenting on this appointment, Total Produce’s Chairman, Carl McCann said, “We are very pleased that Michael is joining the Board. Michael is a highly respected and skilled lawyer.
“His in-depth experience of mergers and acquisitions and foreign investments are very relevant as the business continues to expand. We look forward to his contribution to the further development of Total Produce plc.”
Total Produce said that the company would benefit from Meghan’s significant knowledge and experience in all aspects of company law and practice with a particular expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions.
The fresh produce company recently posted a total revenue increase of 13.9% to €4.29 billion for 2017.
