BWG Group’s National Distribution Centre has been shortlisted for seven honours at this years Irish Logistics & Transport Awards, which will take place in the Citywest Hotel on 12 April.
It's National Distribution Centre supplies over 1040 Spar, Eurospar, Londis, Mace and XL stores, along with 20 Value Centre wholesale branches.
The wholesale and retail group has been nominated for the following awards: Logistics Company of the Year; Transport Company of the Year; Logistics & Transport Team of the Year; Client and Supplier Collaboration Award; Supply Chain Achievement Award; Customer Focus Achievement Award and also Innovation in Technology and Systems.

BWG’s 240,000 sq. ft. distribution centre is located in Dublin’s Kilcarbery Business Park and incorporates the Group’s entire ambient, chilled and frozen distribution, including the company’s bonded warehouse, making it one of the biggest facilities of its kind in the country.
The distribution centre employs nearly 300 people who are responsible for the handling 46 million cases through the facility each year, and the completion of approximately 800 regional deliveries on a daily basis.
