Lynas Foodservice, an Irish food distributor, has announced that it made more than €16.85 million in turnover, according to The Irish Times.
The company, which is based in Coleraine in Northern Ireland, makes over 8,000 deliveries per week to sites across Ireland and Scotland, specialising in the transport of frozen, chilled and ambient products.
It recently announced that its turnover significantly grew in the 12 months to October 2017, and added that its pre-tax profits remained similar to 2016, and called last years results “satisfactory”.
This is despite a major increase in wage expenditure for staff, as last year its workforce increased to 490 people, sending its annual wage bill to over £13.5 million.
Lynas recently announced that it will supply the new 233 million Center Parks Longford Forest development, due to open next year.
