Re-turn Reports 750m Returns Since Deposit Return Scheme Launch

Re-turn has reported more than 750 million drinks containers have been returned since the launch of the DRS on 1 February this year.

Repak has awarded Soltec (Ireland) Ltd the prestigious Overall Pakman Award at the 10th Annual Pakman Awards.

Some 635 million containers have been returned as part of the DRS, according to the Department of Environment, Climate, and Communications.

Re-turn has announced that over 500 million drinks containers have been returned to the scheme since its launch on 1 February.

Repak today announced that its members surpassed all future EU recycling targets, making significant improvements to recycling in Ireland.
