Re-turn Reports Over 400m Containers Returned Since Start Of DRS

Re-turn has announced that 400 million plastic bottles and cans have been returned since the Deposit Return Scheme launched on 1 February.

Re-turn has called Electric Picnic attendees to donate their drinks containers to support for the charity initiative ‘Return for Children.’

Re-turn has reported that 300 million drinks containers have been returned in Ireland since the start of the DRS on 1 February 2024.

Aldi Ireland is launching two wines to the market packaged in new lightweight, fully recyclable, ‘flat’ PET plastic bottles.

Re-turn, the operators of Ireland’s DRS, has announced that 90 million containers were returned in the month of June.

To mark 25 years of Aldi in Ireland, the retailer is celebrating by releasing 25 fun facts about its legacy since 1999.

Re-turn today announced that Irish consumers have returned over 200 million containers since the start of the scheme.

Aldi Ireland has revealed its camping essentials, from tents to tarps, available in-store from this Thursday 20 June.
