TOMRA’s New Reverse Vending Machine Allows Multiple Returns At Once

TOMRA Collection has released a new multi-feed reverse vending machine (RVM) in Ireland that allows over 100 returns at once.

Re-turn has reported more than 750 million drinks containers have been returned since the launch of the DRS on 1 February this year.

Some 635 million containers have been returned as part of the DRS, according to the Department of Environment, Climate, and Communications.

This week, Repak announced the finalists for the 2024 Pakman Awards, recognising recycling and waste management excellence.

Lidl Ireland has become the first Irish retailer to hit 100 million returns as part of the Deposit Return Scheme, which launched 1 February.

Re-turn has announced that over 500 million drinks containers have been returned to the scheme since its launch on 1 February.

Re-turn has partnered with professional organiser Sarah Reynolds for practical tips to store drinks containers at home.

Re-turn has announced that 400 million plastic bottles and cans have been returned since the Deposit Return Scheme launched on 1 February.
