DeLaval, a Swedish-based market leader in milking equipment and solutions for dairy farmers, has launched its latest rotary milking system in the UK and Ireland.
The DeLaval Rotary E100 focuses on the four customer challenges: Animal welfare, milk quality, farm profitability and work efficiency.
Efficiency & Comfort
The machine allows for a sole operator to control the whole milking process and is designed to increase the efficiency of milking large groups alone.
In terms of animal welfare, the machine is built to provide a calmer milking process and increase cow throughput.
It also provides a gentle milking cluster giving stable and lower vacuum during milking.
“The DeLaval E100 Rotary has been designed around the customer’s and the animal’s needs,” said Gary Edwards CMS Solutions manager, “It has been designed as a complete milking system focussing on cow flow, cow comfort, efficiency and comfort for the milker.”
The machine is combined with DelPro herd management software, which offers the farmer complete control of his herd making it easier for him to make management decisions.
“When working in conjunction with the unique DeLaval teat spray robot, it is incredibly labour efficient when labour is becoming increasingly challenging for dairy farmers,” he concluded.
