Deliveroo and McDonald’s UK & Ireland have recently announced a national home delivery partnership.
The tie-up means that customers across Ireland can now enjoy McDonald’s delivered to their door by Deliveroo from over 55 McDonald’s sites in Ireland covering Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Waterford, Dundalk, Drogheda, Naas and more.
Paddy Quinlan, regional manager for Deliveroo Ireland, said, “We are always looking to bring more choice and value to our customers and this partnership means customers will be able to enjoy everything from Big Macs to McFlurry’s delivered to their door within minutes.”
Just A Few Clicks Away
Gareth Pearson, chief operations officer McDonald’s UK and Ireland, said, “At McDonald’s, we are always looking to improve and enhance the experience for our customers – ensuring we’re where our customers want us, when they want us.
"McDelivery and this partnership play an important role in this – ensuring that our customers’ favourites are just a few clicks away.”
This year Deliveroo opened a new office in North Dock in Dublin with the team focusing on business development across Ireland.
This is in addition to the more than 3,000 self-employed riders across the country that Deliveroo continues to work with.
Continued Growth Plans
According to the online food delivery company, the partnership with McDonald’s is the latest update in Deliveroo’s continued growth plans in Ireland.
In addition to Ireland, McDonald’s and Deliveroo currently partner in the UK, France, Italy, Belgium, Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Kuwait.
