Dunnhumby and Aptaris have signed a strategic partnership, aiming to help retailers promote offers to customers more effectively.
Customer science company dunnhumby has long provided retailers with data and analytics, helping them to understand the effects of pricing and promotions and to improve the value they offer to shoppers.
Aptaris helps retailers in the implementation of promotions, facilitating the many processes involved, from advertising design to vendor collaboration and billing.
The partnership means that the companies will be able to provide an integrated service to enable their customers to both plan and implement promotions with a higher level of efficiency and effectiveness.
Tom O’Reilly, CEO of Aptaris, stated, “The new combined offering allows immediate access to dunnhumby's data-driven customer intelligence.”
He went on to say that, “the higher awareness of financial impact deeply ingrained into the retailers' existing processes will increase promotional funding and revenue.”
