Gala Retail has announced the launch of a Live Chat function on both its consumer and retailer websites, it has been reported.
According to a statement, the group will be the first retailer in the Irish convenience sector to offer such a service.
Modern-Day Communication
The move comes from high levels of traffic on the company’s website, and the retailer wants to make sure its finger is on the pulse of modern-day communication.
The new feature is currently up and running, available from 11 am – 4 pm, Monday to Friday.
It will serve both as an additional customer service function for consumers, as well as providing a convenient online support option for Gala retailers.
In addition, users will be able to rate their satisfaction with the system and the support it has provided after each chat session.
Gala’s website features a number of exclusive promotions and competitions which take place nationwide.
In addition, it also hosts entries for the Gala Gifts for Schools competition, where €30,000 is up for grabs for 3 lucky Irish Primary Schools.
