InterTradeIreland recently unveiled its latest Brexit Business Monitor entitled, ‘All Fact: No Noise. Practical Help to Plan for Brexit’ at a conference at Croke Park, Dublin.
The half day event was held in partnership with the Local Enterprise Offices.
In the region of 400 business representatives attended the event.
“Our latest All-Island Business Monitor highlighted that 95% of local companies still have no plans in place for Brexit and we’re committed to offering firms practical support to start preparing." Aidan Gough, InterTradeIreland strategy and policy Director, said.
"Brexit will become a reality in 2019 and now is the time for firms to prepare for different scenarios that might emerge."
Expert Panel
Speakers on the day included Minister of State for Trade, Employment and Business, Pat BreenDr. Vincent Power, A&L Goodbody partner and expert in EU law, who highlighted areas of focus for SMEs as negotiations proceed and panellist and experts on tax, revenue and customs.
InterTradeIreland’s Brexit Advisory Service includes a €2,000 Brexit Start Planning Voucher, which 'allows individual firms to work with an approved panel of experts to devise a tailored action plan'.
