Repak has been shortlisted for two awards at the 2017 eir Spiders, for its website.
Repak.ie was a finalist in the categories for Best in User Experience and Best Campaign for Repak Recycle Week 2017 at this year’s event.
Repak.ie was transformed earlier this year to coincide with the not for profit recycling schemes twentieth anniversary.
Repak Marketing and Communications Manager, Laura Sherry said: "Repak is committed to providing a best-in-class website experience for both our members and the general public. We have made significant improvements with an overhaul of Repak.ie, having identified an increased demand for recycling and waste prevention information in an ever-changing digital landscape.
Amongst the elements of Repak.ie that were transformed include the platform’s design, pages and navigational capabilities, as well as the content currently housed on the site.
"The redevelopment of Repak.ie has been integral in continuing to drive awareness of the Repak member network to support packaging recycling nationwide. It has been crucial in educating the Irish public on how to recycle through initiatives such as ‘Repak Recycle Week’, ‘Prevent and Save’ and ‘Shop with a Repak Member." She added.
