Retail Excellence has announced a two-year partnership extension with payment solutions provider AIB Merchant Services.
According to the retail industry representative body, the agreement will see the fintech provider ‘retain its position’ as the exclusive payment partner to Retail Excellence and its 2,200-strong membership, which is comprised of a number of retail companies that operate in the Irish market.
Commenting on the partnership, Duncan Graham, managing director of Retail Excellence, said, “As we emerge from the pandemic, it is crucial that retailers can offer the best customer experience possible, and I am confident this deal will help deliver that.”
The Partnership
The group noted that the partnership will include a significant investment in the AIB Merchant Services Retail Excellence Awards programme.
Retail Excellence noted that the awards will take place on Saturday 12 November 2022 in the Galmont Hotel, Co. Galway.
Hubert O’Donoghue, general manager of AIBMS, added, “With the use of card and payment apps continuing to accelerate, and the cultural shift of Irish SMEs online to maximise their presence during the pandemic, we know that Retail Excellence Ireland membership require excellence to maximise retail performance into the future.
“At AIB Merchant Services, we have robust solutions to meet that need, whether that is online, in store, or on the go. We are excited to further extend this partnership and look forward to working hand in hand together to deliver ongoing excellence.”
