Talysis Ltd has launched a new service designed to make it easy for brands to ‘keep their fingers on the pulse’ of pricing and promotional activity across the Irish retail market.
According to Talysis, the PriceCube tool provides weekly stock-keeping unit (SKU) pricing and promotional information on all FMCG categories across the main Irish supermarkets, including Dunnes Stores and Tesco Ireland.
The provision of data from Dunnes Stores is seen as hugely beneficial for brands operating in the Irish market, as this is the first time that such insight has been available, Talysis added.
Dynamic Dashboard Portal
Accessed through an easy-to-use dynamic dashboard portal and designed with headline and drill-down capabilities, PriceCube provides access to current and trended insight.
Ed Roberts, managing director, Talysis Ltd, explained, “Our new PriceCube tool will enable brands to keep their finger on the pulse of retail pricing and promotional activity, quickly and easily.
“Updated weekly, it’s designed so key information is visible immediately on a platform which does not require technical expertise to use it.”
Richer Insights
To develop even richer insights, PriceCube can also be integrated with sales data, internal field sales data, or any other data sources (such as weather and seasonal events), Talysis noted.
The new service offers multiple benefits to brands, including developing a clear understanding of brand and competitor pricing across the market, with a frequency that enables a swift reaction to minimise threats or capitalise on opportunities, Talysis added.
It also generates a deeper understanding of promotional activity, such as timings of promotions and strategies across the market.
In addition, the cost and time savings in reducing physical store-auditing makes PriceCube an even more valuable proposition.
Interactive Demo
Talysis highlighted that suppliers can access an interactive demo of PriceCube, giving a flavour of the data, insights and capabilities available, via the website here.
A full demonstration of the new tool can also be booked online.
At launch, PriceCube provided ‘insight into the main Irish supermarket channel, with the introduction of PriceCube-UK and specialist Irish and UK channels scheduled for summer 2022.’
