Social-media platform TikTok has partnered with Guaranteed Irish to bring TikTok Shop to Irish users, promoting home-grown businesses.
Each month across Ireland, 2.2 million people visit TikTok, where their favourite creators – in addition to new creators popping up on their ‘For You’ page – entertain and inspire them.
Now, in partnership with Guaranteed Irish, TikTok has announced a new way for Irish users to discover and shop directly from home-grown sellers with TikTok Shop in Ireland.
TikTok Shop will bring shoppable videos and live shopping directly to ‘For You’ feeds, thus giving local Irish sellers and creators the ability to sell products directly through the app.
It is now open exclusively to businesses and shoppers based in Ireland, as part of its partnership with Guaranteed Irish, the national symbol of trust for doing business in Ireland and helping customers and businesses identify Irish options.
Additionally, Guaranteed Irish businesses will receive exclusive support, including events and training.
Irish businesses Chapters Bookstore (@chaptersbookstoredublin), Cocoa Brown (@cocoabrown_tan) and Smooth Company (@thesmoothcompany) are among those that will start selling through TikTok Shop this month.
