According to Tweak, creating retail marketing materials and point of sale on demand is a significant challenge for retailers everywhere.
It's a problem that pioneers of design online, Killorglin based Tweak decided to focus on.
"The traditional design process is great for creating templates, but it's just too slow and expensive for retailers," explained Tweak founder and CEO Jerry Kennelly.
"Design templates for retail should be usable by anyone on the team – and our technology is designed to make that easy," explained Kennelly whose brand design solution is used by Expert Hardware, TJ O'Mahonys and Petstop in Ireland.
'Design Automation'
Tweak has announced a 'design automation' solution which allows retailers to drag and drop products into their own brand designs.
The image automatically appears on the page along with product description and current pricing.
Tweak's automated design has been integrated with Nielsen Brandbank, which allows Brandbank users to have their imagery searchable and usable within Tweak to create artwork in minutes for print ads, mailers, point of sale and digital marketing.
Joyce's Supermarkets in Galway is the first user of the Brandbank integration, which has reduced Joyce's in-house production time for their regular 24-page mailers to a single day, the company explained.
"If we have a deadline to sign off, on a Friday at 5 pm for the direct marketing to go to print, I can make changes within a few minutes of deadline, with no risk of errors," explained CEO Pat Joyce, Joyces.
"Our marketing collateral is then right up to the minute," he added.
