‘Innovation in Real-Time: Working in Cooperation with Retailers’
Innovation is crucial in the branded marketplace, but innovation is only as successful as the relationship that can be developed between manufacturers and retailers.
In this presentation, Anna Malmhake, Chairman & CEO, Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard, will examine the need for brands to work closely with the retail trade in order to develop actionable initiatives that can not only lift a brand’s performance, but also whole categories.
Anna Malmhake has a Bachelor of Social Science, Business and Law degree from the University of Stockholm. She started her career in 1991 at Procter & Gamble in Sweden and then joined The Coca Cola Company in Stockholm at the end of 1996 where she held various marketing positions.
From 2001 to 2003, Anna worked for Motorola in Sweden, London and Chicago. Returning to Sweden at the end of 2003, she became Managing Director of Temo AB, a Swedish consulting firm, and then took up the position of Marketing Director of the Coca Cola Swedish bottler.
She joined the Absolut Company in 2007 as Global Brand Director and, in September 2009, was appointed Marketing Director of the Absolut Company.
Anna joined Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard as Chairman & CEO on September 1st 2011. In this role she has brought all her strategic management and marketing skills and her commercial understanding to bear on the continued rapid development of Jameson Irish Whiskey as an icon of the global spirits industry.
