BIC has launched its popular BIC Cristal Challenge promotion in Ireland. As part of the promotion, BIC is challenging its consumers - from doodlers to students and artists to list-writers - to try and finish their BIC Cristal Medium pens. Those who use up all the ink, and send the empty pen back to BIC (according to T&Cs), will be rewarded with €10.
With up to 3km of ink packed inside every BIC Cristal Medium pen*, customers looking to claim their reward will need to be dedicated scribblers: each BIC Cristal Medium pen can sign up to 9,431 signatures, complete 986 sudoku puzzles or write 1,475 Christmas cards**.
The launch in Ireland follows series of successful campaigns in the UK, with return on the sales of packs of 10 BIC Cristal Medium increasing by 32% during the promotional period***.
“Having had such a good response, we wanted to make the promotion available to our customers in Ireland," said Mishka Smith, BIC UK and Ireland‘s Trade Marketing Manager. "The offer is a light-hearted way to showcase both the quality and durability the classic BIC Cristal has offered consumers for over 60 years. With up to 3km of ink inside, we’re always delighted to reward customers consumers who manage to finish their pens.”
The purchasing period featured on all packs of 10 BIC Cristal Medium pens (sold by Tesco and Dunnes), will run until 31 January 2014.
