The Coca-Cola Thank You Fund has awarded a number of monetary prizes to non-profits that promote healthy, active lifestyles. Swim Ireland received the top prize of €25,000 and was one of eleven organisations to be rewarded, who combined received €125,000 from the fund.
Ailish Forde, Director, Public Affairs and Communications Coca-Cola HBC Ireland commented, “The funding awarded to each of the 11 winners will result in exciting, diverse initiatives designed to promote healthy, active lifestyles being realised across the island of Ireland. I would like to congratulate all of the entries on their creativity and passion, the calibre of the proposals received by Coca-Cola this year was very impressive.”
The rest of the winners received €10,000 each; Dundalk Simon Community, Europa Donna Ireland Ltd, Inkwell Youth Group, Irish Basketball Association, Irish Hockey Association, Listowel Community Centre, Louisburgh HQ, Monkstown Boxing Club, The Camogie Association and The Prince’s Trust.
