Fintan Corrigan has been appointed Chairman of the Stonehouse Group, following the departure of longstanding Chairman Paddy Shortall from the role.
Corrigan has worked in the FMCG sector for the past 30 years, working in such companies as Unilever, Beecham, DCC Food and the then Maguire & Paterson. He became Managing Director of Swedish Match Ireland and went on to be MD of Swedish Match UK.
In 2006, he set up his own company, CEO2, offering a mentoring service to top level executives. He serves on both the Enterprise Ireland Mentor Panel and the Bank of Ireland Enterprise Builder Panel.
Corrigan will assume the role at the start of next month.
Earlier this month, Stonehouse announced that independent foodservice firm Dublin Food Sales, of Glasnevin, Co. Dublin is to enter its network. The company, run by Martin Kernaghan, will enter Stonehouse’s network of companies in 2014, the first new member to Stonehouse in recent years.
