The Flora pro.activ Cholesterol Roadshow, a nationwide screening campaign which took place over the summer, has found that more than 1 in 2 Irish adults (55%) have higher than the recommended level of cholesterol, which can increase the likelihood of developing heart disease.
The Flora pro.activ Cholesterol Roadshow teamed up with leading Irish retailers, and staged a number of outside broadcasts with RTE Radio 1’s ‘Mooney Show‘, to carry out over 1,000 free cholesterol checks on members of the public nationwide.
