The Galgorm Group and Procter & Gamble have signed a deal that will see the Ballymena company become the sole distributor for P&G Professional products in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
As a result of securing this deal, the Galgorm Group confirmed that it will recruit seven people over the coming six months and grow its turnover by £10m over the next three years. The company is confident that the deal will 'substantially increase the company’s reach into the Cash and Carry and professional end-user market'.
“P&G has not had a proper distribution and sales network for professional end users in Ireland," said David Cotter, Country Manager for P&G. "Our partnership with Galgorm will allow us to directly support this important channel and for the first time we will be able to get proper data and feedback on the professional end users in Ireland."
The 'Professional' section of P&G’s product portfolio includes brands such as Ariel, Daz, Deepio, Bold, Fairy, Flash and Lenor.
