Johnston Mooney and O’Brien has renewed its sponsorship deal with Cricket Ireland for another two years.
The bread manufacturer’s association with Irish Cricket began in 2011, following Ireland’s World Cup win against England when the company launched a campaign featuring namesake players from the team, using the slogan ‘England toasted by Johnston, Mooney and O’Brien!’
Cricket Ireland Head of Commercial, Dennis Cousins, said: “We are extremely pleased to have them stay on as sponsor past Trent Johnson’s retirement. It is great to have the support of a company like Johnston, Mooney and O’Brien, who share as rich a tradition and heritage in this country as Irish cricket.”
Johnston, Mooney and O’Brien Managing Director John Rooney added: ‘’We are delighted to renew our sponsorship support of Cricket Ireland for the next two years. We wish them continued success at this year’s ICC World Twenty20 in Bangladesh and are excited about the build up to the 2015 World Cup In Australia and New Zealand.”
