Keohane Seafoods was awarded the Small Firms Association (SFA) National Small Business Award. Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore presented the award to Cork family company, which has been in operation since 2010.
Other winners included Laois Sawmills (manufacturing); Tour America (services); Monaghan Music & Piano Centre (outstanding small business up to five employees); Critical Healthcare (innovator of the year); Ryans Cleaning Services (energy and environmental sustainability) and Clevamama (small business exporter of the year).
SFA Chairman AJ Noonan said, “It is these award winning small businesses and others from all over Ireland that will generate the growth needed to create jobs, overcome our debt burden and deliver the prosperity, and quality of life that this country can legitimately aspire to.”
