Unilever has appointed Sarah Newbitt as vice president for its UK & Ireland supply chain. She will be responsible for managing the supply chain for over ten Unilever facilities that manufacture food, refreshments and home and personal care.
Newbitt has 20 years of experience at Unilever in a variety of roles including, most recently, a global role of Vice President Supply Chain, Savoury Category.
On joining the UK and Ireland board, Sarah said, “Having worked for Unilever for a number of years, I am looking forward to returning to the UK and Ireland business and overseeing our supply chain. We are building a new personal care factory in Port Sunlight, our historic home, this year so it is a particularly exciting time to take on the role.”
Her predecessor, David Sprent, has become VP Supply Chain for Foods of Unilever North America.
