Retail Ireland chairman Frank Gleeson has been appointed to the Executive Board of NACS, the international association for convenience and fuel retailing.
Gleeson, who is also retail director at Topaz, takes the position of NACS vice chairman of international, with responsibility for chairing the International Committee and directing the association’s global engagement.
Gleeson is the only Non-US member of the executive board, which is headed up by chairman Brad Call of Utah-based Maverik Inc.
NACS announced the election of its 2013-14 Executive Committee during its Board of Directors meeting at the NACS Show in Atlanta, held earlier this week. Founded in 1961, NACS has 2,100 retail and 1,600 supplier member companies, which do business in nearly 50 countries.
