Chilled and frozen ready meal producer, Swift Fine Foods is to invest €3.1 million in a major development programme which will create 53 new jobs in Castleblaney, County Monaghan.
The announcement was made by the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton, T.D who said, “With this investment programme and new jobs announcement by Swift Fine Foods we are once again seeing a great example of the strength of Ireland’s food industry. This is a highly innovative company growing into export markets.”
This strategic investment is supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through Enterprise Ireland. Swift Fine Foods was launched two years ago and its premier brand “Chef Cuisine” ready meal range is now the fastest growing indigenous brand in the convenience meal sector, with widespread availability across all the Multiple & Symbol chains. The Company has also produced own label products for Aldi and Super Value/Centra. Swift Fine Foods is located in the Lough Egish Food Park in Castleblayney.
